Wouter Dessein

Wouter Dessein is currently the Eli Ginzberg Professor of Finance and Economics and Chair of the Economics Division at Columbia Business School. Wouter is also a Research Associate at the Center for Economic and Policy Research and previously served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Law, Economics and Organization. Dessein was previously an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Wouter holds a Bachelor's degree in Handelsingenieur from KU Leuven, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and Université libre de Bruxelles. Dessein also attended Klein Seminarie Roeselare for high school.
