Alexandra Leff

Senior Director of Arts Education at Center for Educational Innovation

Alexandra Leff is an experienced arts education leader currently serving as the Executive Director of Arts Education at The Center for Educational Innovation since January 2018, where responsibilities include developing preK-12 arts education programs and engaging families through workshops. Previously, as Deputy Director at LEAP from July 2006 to July 2017, Alexandra supervised arts education programs for 300 NYC public schools, recruited and evaluated arts educators, and led high-profile public art initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as a Program Development Consultant at Ventures Education Systems Corporation and as Executive Director of Public School ArtWorks, both of which focused on educational strategies and arts programming. Alexandra holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from Hunter College and a Bachelor's degree, Cum Laude, in Anthropology with a minor in English from the University at Albany.
