Brandi Martin is a contemporary artist and educator with extensive experience in teaching and professional development. Currently serving as a Professional Development specialist at The Center for Educational Innovation, Brandi collaborates with art teachers to integrate various subjects into arts education. As a Teaching Artist at Creative Art Works since 2014, Brandi co-designed a character design internship for NYC public high school students, demonstrating a commitment to innovative educational practices. With a rich background in visual arts, Brandi has worked in various educational settings, including as an Art Instructor at West Aurora School District and a Teacher at multiple high schools, where curriculum development and multimedia art education were prioritized. An accomplished artist, Brandi's work explores themes of thinking, loss, and recovery through interdisciplinary multimedia installations. Brandi holds a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and additional qualifications in Art Education from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Visual Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
