Shakira Dixon, MPH, is an experienced data manager and analyst with expertise in public health and data analysis. Currently serving as a Data Manager/Administrative Assistant at The Center for Educational Innovation since March 2023, Shakira collaborates with the Program Director to enhance after-school programming and ensure compliance with grant guidelines. Prior experience includes working as a Data Analyst at Theresa's Helping Hands Inc., where Shakira advised on analytical techniques and identified trends within the homeless population. At Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Shakira conducted statistical analyses on infectious diseases and presented research findings. An earlier role as a Dietary Aide at Morning Side Nursing Home involved data entry and processing healthcare paperwork. Shakira holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Monroe College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Medgar Evers College, CUNY.
