Katharine Bambrick

Katharine Bambrick is currently an advisor at the Center for Effective Philanthropy. Katharine has extensive experience in the food industry, having worked as the Executive Director for Food Banks Canada and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Katharine has also held positions as Senior Director of Public Policy for Food and Consumer Products of Canada and Director of Provincial and National Affairs for the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers. Prior to that, they worked for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs as a Regional Manager and Senior Project Coordinator.

Katharine Bambrick has a ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a NFP Governance Essentials Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors, and a Certified Association Executive (CAE) Designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives. Katharine also has a Queen's Public Executive Program from Queen's University and a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. Finally, they have a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Family Studies from the University of Guelph.
