Leanna Smith is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in therapy and social work. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at both Charlotte Therapy Center and Center for Emotional Health since 2021 and 2020 respectively, Leanna has provided individual outpatient therapy services for several years. Previous roles include Mental Health Therapist at MASTERPEACE CENTER FOR COUNSELING & DEVELOPMENT, Social Worker for Cabarrus County North Carolina, and facilitating DWI treatment programs while registered with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board at Sims Consulting & Clinical Services. Leanna's earlier career includes positions in admissions and academic advising, showcasing a diverse background in counseling and client support. Education includes a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Central Michigan University.
