Peter Weinhold

Peter Weinhold is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in academic and operational technology roles. Currently serving as a Senior IT Strategist at the Center for Employment Opportunities since June 2022, Peter previously held the position of Associate Director of Academic IT at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from December 2019 to June 2022, leading the Academic Systems team in designing and supporting information systems for the institution. Prior to that, Peter was the Director of Academic Technology at the University of St. Thomas from February 2012 to December 2019, where responsibilities included developing academic technology resources. Earlier positions include Assistant Dean - Director of Technology at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, IT Manager at Health Science Libraries at the University of Minnesota, and IT Operations Manager at University of Minnesota Libraries. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Metro State University, obtained between 1984 and 1987.
