Vin Gupta, MD MPA, serves as Chief Medical Officer for Amazon Pharmacy and has held multiple senior roles within Amazon since January 2020, including leadership in COVID response and new product development. Gupta is also a Critical Care Pulmonologist at Virginia Mason Medical Center and a Medical Analyst for NBC News. As a reservist Major in the US Air Force, Gupta oversees the Critical Care Air Transport Team. Additional roles include board member positions at the American Lung Association, Climate Solutions, and the Center for Environmental Health, while also serving as an affiliate assistant professor at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. Gupta's educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Columbia University, and the University of Cambridge.
