James Frankino Jr., BSN, RN, SHRM-PMQ has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Crisis Clinician at Pathways Inc., where they provided assessments, case management services, and crisis response. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Resident Services Supervisor at Arden Courts of Chagrin Falls, overseeing the care of residents with dementia. James then worked as a Psychiatric Nurse at Charak Center for Health and Wellness, assisting with medication management and evaluations. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as an RN at the VA Medical Center, providing care for veterans with mental health and addiction issues. Subsequently, they held several managerial positions, including Director of Nursing at Applewood Centers Inc. and Director of Residential and Health Services at New Avenues to Independence, Inc. In 2019, they became a Residential Manager at Signature Health, Inc. and later served as an Assistant Nurse Manager at St Vincent Charity Medical Center. Most recently, since 2021, they have been the Director of ICF at Koinonia. Additionally, starting in May 2023, they will assume the role of Director of Nursing at The Centers. With their diverse background and leadership experience, James Frankino Jr. has developed a strong foundation in nursing and healthcare management.

James Frankino Jr., BSN, RN, SHRM-PMQ, has a diverse education background. James obtained a Bachelor's in Nursing from Ohio University in 2021 and an Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing from Cuyahoga Community College from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Practical Nursing program at North Coast Medical Training Academy in 2008. James also has a non-specific degree from Notre Dame College in Education from 2001 to 2003.

Before pursuing higher education, James attended Kent State University from 1993 to 1999, where they studied Sociology, Business Management, and Psychology. Their academic journey began at Newbury High School, where they earned their high school diploma in 1993. In 1991, they attended Notre Dame Cathedral Latin for a year, pursuing studies in Education.

In addition to their formal education, James has obtained several certifications. James achieved the People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM in 2022, and in 2018, they became a Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant certified by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. James also holds certifications as a Reiki Master, an Ordained Minister, and is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) by the American Heart Association.
