Pia Parekh serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, focusing on Phase 2/Phase 3 clinical trials for movement disorders since November 2023. Concurrently, Pia has been involved with The Center for Family Support Inc. since April 2021, providing community habilitation support and adapting educational curricula for students. Previous roles include Research Assistant positions for the Human Epilepsy Project and New York University's Developmental Psychology Lab and Baby Brain & Early Environment Lab, where Pia analyzed medical records and coded behavioral data. Additional experience includes serving as a Neuropsychology Clinical Assistant at Staten Island University Hospital and as a Medical Assistant at SINY® Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery. Pia began tutoring underprivileged high school students during the pandemic and has held various positions focused on administrative and media duties in educational and healthcare settings. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in the Development of Decision Making from New York University.
