Jahira Sterling, MPA, currently serves as a Program Associate at the Center for Health Care Strategies since July 2022. Previously, Jahira held the position of Graduate Program Coordinator at Rutgers University - Newark from August 2021 to May 2022 and worked as a Legislative Intern for the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus Foundation Inc. for a brief period in 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as a Caseworker at Verus LLC, an Intern at the Newark Board of Education, and a Summer Housing Assistant at Rutgers University - Newark. Jahira's career began as a Caretaker at The Arc of Somerset County from June 2016 to June 2018. Jahira holds a Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University - Newark (2020-2022) and a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution (2016-2020).
