Adriana Magana is a skilled mental health professional with diverse experience in the field. Currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician at the Center for Human Services since December 2022, Adriana provides counseling to youth aged 5-17 and collaborates with their support systems. Previously, Adriana worked as a Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee at Omega Mental Health, offering telehealth therapy and creating treatment plans. Adriana's background also includes roles as a Behavior Consultant and Behavioral Therapist at Genesis Behavior Center, where treatment plans and Applied Behavior Analysis services were developed for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, Adriana held positions as a Student Placement Manager at California State University, Fresno, and as a Daycare Provider and Temporary Office Assistant at Connie’s Kozy Daycare. Adriana holds a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from California State University, Fresno and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stanislaus State Continuing and Professional Education.
Center for Human Services (CHS)
Center for Human Services opened in 1970 as Head Rest, a drop-in center for youth who needed support. Now, with over 250 paid staff, at least 100 volunteers, and operating budget of 12 million dollars, CHS serves over 20,000 clients a year through programs in the areas of shelter, juvenile justice services, mental health counseling, school-based services, family resource centers, and substance abuse prevention and treatment. Our services continue to support the youth and families of Stanislaus County. CHS has a long history here, and we do what we can in response to the needs of our community.
