Maegan Ashworth

Maegan Ashworth is a Doctoral Candidate in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Washington, focusing research on lung diseases caused by Mycobacterium avium complex and other mycobacterial diseases, including tuberculosis. Additionally, Maegan is pursuing an MD degree as part of an MD-PhD program, currently concentrating on the PhD component while engaging in extracurricular activities related to service learning within the School of Medicine. Graduate research is also being conducted at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute, where Maegan's doctoral dissertation is under development. Educational background includes a degree from the University of Washington, attended from 1996 to 2001.
