Cate Bonacini

Cate Bonacini is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Communications Manager at the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) since March 2020. In addition, Cate acts as a Board Member and public relations and marketing chair for Friday Night Dancers. Previous roles include Director of Communications at the National Partnership for Hospice Innovation, where Cate established communications strategies and served as the primary media contact, and Director of Storytelling Initiatives at Families USA, overseeing workflow improvements and departmental initiatives. Cate's career also encompasses positions in communications and outreach at Enroll America, Equality Maryland, and various roles at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, alongside teaching experience as a private tutor and classroom assistant. Cate holds a Master of Public Policy in Environmental Policy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John's College.
