Daniel Whamond

Daniel Whamond currently serves as an Associate Operations Support Specialist at the Center for Internet Security since May 2023, where responsibilities include resolving support issues and troubleshooting customer problems related to network monitoring, cloud applications, and cybersecurity products. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Cyber Incident Response Team Analyst and Digital Forensic Analyst at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office from March 2014 to May 2023. Earlier experience includes positions as an Area Supervisor and Store Protection Specialist at Ross Stores, Inc. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Homeland Security from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University-Sacramento, with additional studies at Tulane University.
