Parami Swenson is a Technical Support Specialist at the Center for Internet Security since August 2021. Previously, Parami contributed to a Senior Design Project at the University of Illinois at Chicago, focusing on a wearable device for physical therapy patients with tennis-related wrist injuries. Parami also served as a Student Research Assistant at the University of Utah, where DNA extraction and PCR techniques were utilized on plant samples. Early career experience includes a role as a Receptionist at the Sri Lankan Embassy, responsible for handling calls and preparing official documents. Parami holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Utah, along with a Mandarin Chinese Proficiency Course from Shandong University.
