Shayna Marchese has a wide range of work experience in the arts and library fields. Shayna started their career at Bonnier Corporation in 2007 as an Associate Art Director and worked there until 2012. In 2012, Shayna took on several positions including Digitization Archivist at the Foundation for Landscape Studies, Project Archivist at the Wildlife Conservation Society Library & Archives, and Digital Projects Librarian at The New York Botanical Garden. From 2013 onwards, they worked at the Center for Jewish History, initially as a Senior Photographer, then as an Art Director & Senior Photographer, and finally as an Art Director. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise in photography, archiving, and art direction.
Shayna Marchese pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design. Shayna attended the School of Visual Arts from 1997 to 2000. Afterward, they continued their academic journey by enrolling in Queens College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree. Their specialized focus during this period was Archives and Preservation of Cultural Materials.
