Ignacio Jaureguilorda

Project Director at Center for Justice Innovation

Ignacio Jaureguilorda has extensive experience in the field of justice initiatives and legal services. Ignacio started their career in 2002 as a Staff Attorney at the AIDS Center of Queens County and then worked as a Supervising Staff Attorney at Housing Works, Inc. from 2006 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Director of Legal Services at the AIDS Center of Queens County. Since 2015, Ignacio has been with the Center for Justice Innovation, where they have held various roles including Project Director, specializing in civil justice, housing justice, and access to justice. Ignacio has also served on the Board of Directors of JustFix NYC and the Advisory Board of the Housing Justice Leadership Institute at New York Law School.

Ignacio Jaureguilorda obtained a Juris Doctor degree in International Law and Legal Studies from the City University of New York School of Law from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Global Affairs from Eckerd College, which they attended from 1993 to 1997.
