Julian Adler also has a significant tenure at the Center for Court Innovation, where they held various roles. Notably, they served as the Director of Policy and Research and led the planning and launch of the Safety and Justice Challenge initiative. Julian also served as the Director of Research-Practice Strategies and Director of the Red Hook Community Justice Center, leading efforts in pretrial justice, trauma-informed care, and evidence-generating practices.
Earlier in their career, Julian Adler worked as an Individual and Family Therapist at Community Counseling and Mediation, a Certified Mediator at Westchester Mediation Center, and a Behavior Specialist at New Alternatives For Children.
Julian Adler, LCSW, Esq. received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002 from Wesleyan University. Julian then attended Fordham University School of Law, where they earned a Doctor of Law degree in 2008. In addition, they pursued a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham Graduate School of Social Service, which they completed between 2005 and 2007. Julian Adler also holds two professional licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, obtained in 2010 from New York State, and Licensed Attorney, obtained in 2009 from New York State.
