Olivia Dana is an experienced legal and policy professional with a strong background in justice reforms. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at the Center for Justice Innovation since January 2019, Olivia provides strategic advice to the CEO and contributes to the Executive Team. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Director of Pretrial Policy and Practice, where oversight of pretrial services for Brooklyn and Staten Island involved managing a diverse team and supporting thousands of individuals annually through innovative programs. As Deputy Director of Research-Practice Strategies, Olivia offered technical assistance in areas such as jail reduction and diversion initiatives. Earlier, Olivia worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office, focusing on cases at the Red Hook Community Justice Center, a pioneering community court aimed at reducing recidivism. Olivia holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA in English from Fordham University.
