Dr. Gretchen L. Stewart currently serves as the Senior Director of Educational Leadership at the Center for Learner Equity, focusing on special education resources, access, and system capacity at local, state, and national levels. Dr. Stewart has a robust background in education, including positions as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida and as the Founder & Director of Smart Moves Academy Tampa. Additional experience includes roles at High Tech High and The Drexel Fund, where Dr. Stewart contributed to innovative school design and leadership development. Previous positions held include a Virtual Special Education Teacher at Connections Academy, Senior Inclusion and Instructional Coach at Parity Coaching and Development, and Executive Director of Organizational & Leadership Development at Racine Unified School District. Dr. Stewart's educational qualifications include a PhD in Teaching and Learning, Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Special Education and Educational Neuroscience from the University of South Florida, among other advanced degrees.
