Shannon Hensel

Shannon Hensel, MS, LAC, is a professional counselor and psychometrist currently serving at the Center for NeuroWellness since June 2022. Previously, Shannon held positions as a psychotherapist at Dr. Stephen Oreski & Associates from April 2022 to October 2023 and completed an internship at Renewal Counseling Center, Inc. in 2021, where talk therapy was provided to individuals seeking mental health care. Earlier experiences include directing a camp at Point Pleasant Recreation Center, interning at Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital to assist in Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments, and working with low-income families at Kennedy Krieger Southeast Early Head Start. Shannon earned a Master's degree in Clinical Professional Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland.
