Deputy Director, Energy Sustainability Programs at Center for NYC Neighborhoods

Jennifer Leisure has extensive experience in energy sustainability and disaster recovery, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Energy Sustainability Programs at the Center for NYC Neighborhoods since September 2016. Jennifer has effectively led and managed various programs, collaborating with government and nonprofit stakeholders to enhance community engagement and secure funding for vulnerable populations impacted by climate change. Previous roles include positions at the United Way of Greater Union County, the American Red Cross, and Family Based Services Association of New Jersey, where Jennifer focused on disaster recovery and community partnerships. Jennifer holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Communication and Information Sciences from The University of Alabama, and continues education at the University of Havana.
