John Smith

John Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement, public health, and education. Currently serving as Deputy Director at the Center for NYC Neighborhoods since July 2022, John previously held roles such as Borough Community Engagement and Planning Advisor at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Supervising Public Health Advisor for the Test & Trace Corps at NYC Health + Hospitals. John has a background in sustainability consulting and nonprofit leadership, having served as Executive Director of Heart-to-Heart: Comienzos East, and has a long tenure in education, including positions as Head of Division and Mathematics Teacher at Saint Ann's School. John holds a BA in Psychology from Harvard University and has pursued additional education at Georgetown University.
