Lillian Hua

Research Coordinator at Center for Policing Equity

Lillian is a Program Associate under Justice Initiatives, where she researches and develops emerging initiatives for the Justice Initiatives portfolio, and supports the management of existing verticals. She is particularly interested in engaging the complex issues of justice and harm reduction in the international sphere, and how they relate to US policing issues. Lillian first joined the Center for Policing Equity in January 2021 as an intern.

Lillian holds a B.A. in Economics and Ethnicity, Race, & Migration from Yale College. Many of her academic and professional experiences have revolved around racial justice, political economy, human rights law, and Asian American community and history. She owes much of her learning and growth to community, movement ancestors, friends, and her Chinese-American family’s history.
