Nimra J. Chowdhry

Nimra Chowdhry serves as Senior State Legislative Counsel for the Center for Reproductive Rights, where responsibilities include tracking and analyzing state legislation affecting reproductive rights and providing technical assistance to clients and advocates. In addition, Nimra is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School, focusing on U.S. reproductive rights advocacy. Previous experience includes roles as Policy Analyst at Advocates for Youth, Law and Policy Reproductive Justice Fellow at the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum, and various legal internships. Nimra holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Women's and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
