Matt Alexander

Matt Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt started their career as a Software Engineer at Cisco in 2000 and worked there until 2005. Matt then joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Database Programmer from 2005 to 2010. Following that, Matt worked at Cook County Government as a Senior Programmer from 2010 to 2013.

Since 2013, Matt has been associated with the Center for Research in Security Prices, LLC (CRSP). Matt started as a Senior Programmer Analyst and held this role until 2017. After that, they served as a Technical Project Leader from 2017 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, Matt worked as an Assistant Director, Index Software, and is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering - Market Indexes at CRSP.

From 1998 to 2000, Matt Alexander attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
