Ross McKnight has had a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ross started their career in 1994 as a Senior Developer at MF Global, where they were responsible for creating and supporting in-house applications. Ross then moved on to R.J. O'Brien as an M.I.S Manager, overseeing all computerized systems and leading a support team.
In 1997, Ross joined Sagamore Partners as a Senior Consultant, providing a range of computer and programming services. Ross later founded Target Consulting Services in 1998, where they architected, developed, supported, and documented custom software solutions for clients.
Ross then worked at R.J. O'Brien again in 2004 as an Applications Consultant, designing and overseeing the development of proprietary applications. Ross transitioned to Spectrum Global Fund Administration in 2005, where they served as a Development Manager/Support Specialist, providing development, support, and business analysis for a proprietary software application.
In 2008, Ross became a Systems Architect at Peregrine Financial Group, responsible for application development and augmenting a vendor-supplied back office solution. Ross then joined Dash Financial Technologies in 2009 as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead Manager. In this role, they were a lead engineer on a multi-threaded/object-oriented trading platform and served as a liaison between development units, network engineering, trade desk, management, and clients.
Currently, Ross McKnight is working at the Center for Research in Security Prices, LLC (CRSP) as a Senior Software Engineer, leveraging their extensive experience in software development and engineering.
