Sonja Brown, PMP

Sonja Brown, PMP has over 20 years of experience in project management and has held various roles in different companies. Sonja is currently the Associate Director of Project Management at the Center for Research in Security Prices, LLC (CRSP), a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistance Director of Project Management at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from November 2017 to July 2021.

Before their role at Booth School, Sonja worked as a Senior Program Manager and Consultant at Ulta Beauty in 2017, and as a Senior IT Project Manager at PLS Financial Services from July 2015 to December 2016. Sonja also worked as a Senior IT Program Manager and Consultant at Zimmer Biomet from July 2014 to July 2015.

Earlier in their career, Sonja held roles as a Senior IT Project Manager Consultant at Northern Bank from May 2013 to June 2014, a Senior Program Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from May 2007 to April 2013, and as an IT Program Manager at the State of Illinois from May 2003 to April 2007.

Sonja started their career as a Senior QA Project Manager at Boise Cascade OfficeMax from June 2003 to May 2006 and as a QA Manager at Franklin Templeton Investments from April 2000 to May 2003.

Sonja Brown, PMP holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
