David Juhren

Development & Public Relations Officer at Center for Spectrum Services

David brings over twenty years of nonprofit leadership experience, having worked in most aspects of organizational management, public relations, and fundraising. David’s previous experience in nonprofit work includes the TV/ Film industry, LGBT community, international non-governmental organizations, and consultant work.

David has managed Spectrum Services’ Development and Public Relations offices since 2014, and handles their outreach and fundraising activities. As a nonprofit, Spectrum Services relies on the generosity of donors and corporate sponsors to support their programs and services. David is tasked with working with their donors in filling in the gap that is created by not receiving enough funding from state and local municipalities.

David earned his B.A. summa cum laude at Mercy College, receiving the President’s Medal and other accolades. David is often invited to address organizations and businesses on behalf of Spectrum Services to educate them about the life-changing work we do for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

David has come to know so many of their students and staff, and they’ve come to know him, that it motivates David to better tell their heartwarming stories to the greater community, so it can better see the miracles that happen at Spectrum Services every day.
