Elizabeth Forte

Educational Program Coordinator, Ellenville School at Center for Spectrum Services

Elizabeth began as a substitute teacher’s assistant in 2002 at their Kingston School, working summers while home from college. After receiving her MS in Education from the College of Saint Rose, Elizabeth returned to the Hudson Valley, taking on the role as Family Service Coordinator at their Ellenville School.

During her time in Ellenville, she has further developed her skills, increasingly taking on additional leadership roles and responsibilities, leading to her current role as Ellenville’s Program Coordinator.

As Program Coordinator of their Ellenville School, Elizabeth is responsible for ensuring it runs smoothly, providing an excellent learning environment for their students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Elizabeth oversees all of their Ellenville Special Educators and teaching staff, and is an active member of their leadership team.

Elizabeth earned an advanced certificate in Educational Leadership at SUNY New Paltz, and is a Ruby Rose Award recipient, a peer-driven honor bestowed to a staff member who exemplifies the values of Spectrum Services. Elizabeth believes the greatest growth for students comes when families and schools have a collaborative working relationship, and she takes great pride in the countless positive outcomes of students and families with whom she’s worked.
