Krista Olivas Easton

Krista Olivas Easton is an experienced education professional with a focus on literacy and teacher training. Currently serving as Program Manager at the Center for the Collaborative Classroom since May 2021, Krista has previously held positions as an Education Consultant with the National Council on Teacher Quality, where evaluations of textbooks for teacher preparation programs were conducted, and as a Literacy Consultant at Springboard Collaborative, designing research-based K–3 reading lessons. Krista's experience also includes consulting roles at various educational organizations, mentoring pre-service teachers at Saint Mary's College of California, and developing literacy curricula specifically for English language learners. Krista holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UCLA and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
