Center for the Collaborative Classroom
Nicky Montalvo currently serves as the Editorial Project Manager at the Center for the Collaborative Classroom, overseeing editorial operations and the creation of K–5 educational materials. Previous roles include Associate Editor at Callisto Media, where Nicky implemented content strategies for commercial nonfiction books, and Content Manager at Cengage, managing a suite of products in the higher education social sciences sector. Earlier experience includes positions at Pearson, where Nicky coordinated content development for anatomy and physiology textbooks, and various support roles in legal settings, providing case management and document management services. Nicky holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from San Francisco State University and further studies at UC Berkeley Extension.
