Willie Dawson has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas Grantham. They served in the US Army as an Army Recruiter and Station Commander from August 1995 to June 2012. After retiring, they worked as a Veterans Outreach Specialist at The Mission Continues from 2014 to July 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Community Engagement Coordinator at the Center for the Pacific Asian Family since November 2020.

Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF) was founded to help address domestic violence and sexual assault in the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Our mission is to build healthy and safe communities by addressing the root causes and the consequences of family violence and violence against women. Our vision is of an Asian and Pacific Islander community that embraces healthy relationships and works in partnership with other communities to eradicate all forms of violence.
