Esther Yang

Esther Yang is an experienced optometrist with a diverse background in eye care. Currently serving at the Center for the Visually Impaired since August 2020, Esther specializes in low vision assessments and the recommendation of low-vision devices. Previously, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from June 2016 to June 2020, Esther provided comprehensive eye care and collaborated with other healthcare professionals. Experience at Whittier Street Health Center involved the treatment and management of ocular diseases and proficiency in various ocular procedures. Esther's earlier roles include providing fill-in coverage at Sehgal Eye Associates and completing multiple optometry internships, including specialties in pediatrics and low vision. Esther earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University in 2010.
