Sherby Blakeney currently serves as a Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator at Gentiva Hospice and Regency SouthernCare, and has been actively involved in hospice care since August 2021. Additionally, Sherby Blakeney holds the position of Lead Clinical Case Manager at the Center for Transforming Lives and serves as a Rapid Rehousing Case Manager for CENTER FOR TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES INC, focusing on children and family services. Since founding Grace n Mercy Ministry in September 2013, Sherby Blakeney has taken on the role of CEO, while also co-facilitating classes at James River Church since August 2012. Alongside ongoing studies as an MSW student at The University of Texas at Arlington since August 2017, Sherby Blakeney has owned L & S Insurance Agency since January 1999 and previously worked as a Senior Service Specialist at Chase. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Social Work with a focus on Clinical Mental Health/Addiction from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Evangel University.
