Shearlyn Carr

Shearlyn Carr is a dedicated human resources professional with extensive experience in HR and administrative support. Currently serving as a Human Resources Associate at the Center for Urban Community Services since October 2020, Shearlyn processes employee changes, manages onboarding and offboarding processes, and assists with payroll documentation. Prior to this role, Shearlyn spent four years at Urban Pathways as a Human Resources and Finance Administrative Assistant, handling various HR functions and supporting employee training initiatives. Additionally, Shearlyn has a background in higher education, having served as a College Assistant at Guttman Community College CUNY, where responsibilities included tutoring and leading recruitment events. Shearlyn began their professional journey with an internship at the New York State Supreme Court. Shearlyn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Baruch College, obtained between 2014 and 2016.
