Kimble has an extensive background in leadership and community engagement, serving as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors for the Center For Veterans Issues, LTD. since February 2020 and as a Member of the Board of Directors for Renaissance Theaterworks since October 2019. Active in social justice initiatives as an Executive Team Member of RID RACISM MILWAUKEE, Karole also leads Kimble Communications, Inc. as CEO and Chief Communications Officer since 1994. The Center for Veterans Issues, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 1989 to provide management and technical assistance to agencies serving minority veterans as well as direct service provisions for homeless veterans through housing and wraparound supportive services. Although best known for serving homeless veterans recovering from addiction, disabilities and barriers to employment, the mission has always been to support the concerns of all Veterans and their families as well as the community as a whole.
