Jamie Dolkas

Jamie Dolkas has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Jamie currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Research at the Center for WorkLife Law at UC Hastings College of the Law. In this role, they lead various women's leadership initiatives and developed a membership program focused on supporting and advancing women in the workplace.

Prior to their current position, Jamie worked as a Staff Attorney at Equal Rights Advocates, where they conducted workshops for employers and trainings for service providers on family medical leave and other laws. Jamie also managed an advice and counseling hotline and provided legal advice.

Jamie has also held positions as a Research Attorney for Presiding Judge James McBride, a Research Fellow at the Center for Worklife Law at UC Hastings College of the Law, and a Research Fellow at the Civil Justice Clinic at UC Hastings College of the Law. Additionally, they gained experience as a Law Clerk at Lewis, Feinberg, Lee, Renaker, Jackson, where they conducted legal research in employment discrimination cases, wrote legal motions, and assisted in trial preparation.

Outside of the legal field, Jamie worked as a Peer Educator in a public health class at UC Berkeley, where they led seminars and facilitated discussions on campus health and safety issues.

Overall, Jamie Dolkas has demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting gender equality and advocating for the rights of individuals in the workplace through their various roles in research, leadership development, and legal representation.

Jamie Dolkas completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with Highest Honors in Political Science and Women's Studies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005. Later, from 2005 to 2008, Jamie earned a Juris Doctor degree with cum laude distinction (Top 25% Class Rank) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).
