Korin Watras is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in direct care, education, and administrative roles. Currently serving as a Direct Care provider at the Center of Hope Foundation, Inc., Korin supports individuals in achieving their personal goals while collaborating closely with program managers and case managers. Previously, as a Developmental Specialist at Venture Community Services, Korin focused on fostering independence in individuals with developmental and intellectual challenges. Korin’s extensive background includes significant administrative roles at Harvard University, where responsibilities encompassed supporting faculty, managing complex scheduling, and facilitating projects related to faculty development. Additionally, Korin has experience in arts management, museum studies, and education, reinforced by a robust academic foundation with degrees from Harvard University and the University of Bridgeport.

The Center of Hope Foundation provides day habilitation programs, vocational skills training, employment placement, and in-home support for over 500 adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). The Center has been a chapter of the National organization The Arc since 1956. Since 1986, the Center has created for profit and programmatic businesses to further train individuals for job placement in the community, as well as provide additional income to support non funded programs, such as sports & recreation, emergency relief, a food pantry, and holiday giving program. Vacation fun clubs and summer camps are available for children with disabilities as well, creating an inclusive experience. Our Mission is to provide people with disabilities and their families from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds with the resources, services and opportunities to be contributing members of their communities and to achieve the most fulfilling and meaningful lives possible.
