Peggy Bailey

Peggy Bailey serves as the Executive Vice President for Policy and Program Development at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities since July 2022, previously holding roles such as Vice President of Housing and Income Security and Vice President for Housing Policy at the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Advisor on Rental Assistance at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and as a member of the Biden-Harris Transition Team. Peggy Bailey has also contributed to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and CSH, where responsibilities included directing health systems integration and managing health policy analysis. Additionally, Peggy Bailey worked at the National Alliance to End Homelessness, focusing on health-related legislation and partnerships aimed at ending homelessness, and served as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs. An early career included work as a Legislative Assistant at AESOP Enterprise. Peggy Bailey holds a degree in Government, Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Dallas.
