David Biele

David Biele has extensive experience in youth and family services, currently serving as the Director of Youth & Family Services at the Center on Halsted since April 2017. In this role, Biele oversees the execution and development of youth services, including the Youth Housing Program Initiative, while engaging with the community through outreach and advocacy. Previously, Biele held various positions, such as Youth Program Manager at the Center on Halsted, Grants Writer/Development Coordinator at Franciscan Outreach, and Community & Youth Engagement Manager at Upriise. An accomplished educator, Biele also worked at Northwestern University as an Academic Dean and served as the Director of Community Engagement for the Northwestern University Settlement Association. Biele's educational background includes a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Culture from Northwestern University.
