Rene Brakels

Rene Brakels is a seasoned architect and educator with extensive experience in architectural consultancy and teaching. Currently serving as a Certified Passive House Consultant and Senior Architect at Centerbrook Architects and Planners since February 2018, Rene also contributes as an Adjunct Professor in Architectural Studies at Connecticut College since September 2020. Prior professional roles include Job Captain at RGB Architects, Architectural Consultant in various capacities, and teaching positions at the International School of Latvia. Rene's academic credentials include a Master of Architecture from Delft University of Technology and multiple bachelor's degrees in architecture. Notable projects include planning work for the Gershwin area of the Zuidas.
