Reto Tuffli

Prior to starting Centerprise, Reto spent thirteen years at UBS in management positions, both in front office and support roles. From 1994 to 1998, he was both Managing Director of the Global Risk Systems (GRS) group, and head of Risk Control for North America. His responsibilities included managing the development and implementation of the bank's global, Value-at-Risk (VaR) system, covering all of UBS' global trading products and activities, and its acceptance by national regulators. The Risk Control responsibilities involved overseeing a team of sixty people covering all aspects of risk management and control - daily P&L, risk and valuation control, new products, analytic model review, P&L attribution, etc. Prior to that, he ran UBS' trading desk for global US$ fixed income derivatives profitably for eight years, from 1985 to 1993. He was responsible for all aspects of trading, including structuring capital market transactions, portfolio management, and systems development.
