William Gordon

William Gordon serves as the inaugural Chief Informatics Officer at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Innovation Center since January 2023, leading inter-agency collaboration and managing CMMI's data strategy. Concurrently, William holds the position of Attending Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, while also directing the Digital Care Transformation initiative. Previously, William was the Director of Product Management at Kyruus, focusing on health IT solutions. William earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Cornell University and a Doctor of Medicine from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, with additional education from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
