Evan Luxon has a diverse and extensive work experience. Evan is a co-founder and CEO of Centese, a position they have held since July 2015. Additionally, they are a co-founder and board member of Cardiospire since September 2015.
Prior to their current roles, Evan worked at TheraNova as a partner starting in November 2014. Evan also held the positions of R&D Manager from October 2012 to October 2014 and Design Engineer from July 2012 to September 2012 at TheraNova.
Evan was a co-founder and Director of Product Development at Potrero Medical from May 2013 to December 2015. Evan worked as a Consulting Mechanical Engineer at Tangible Science from February 2012 to December 2012, and at Clear Ear from January 2011 to June 2012.
Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Evan gained experience as a Graduate Research Fellow at Stanford ChangeLabs from October 2010 to June 2012. Evan also worked as a Medical Device Fellow at FDA CDRH from June 2010 to September 2010. Additionally, they served as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at NASA JPL from June 2008 to August 2008, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from August 2006 to May 2008.
Evan Luxon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the years 2005 to 2009. Evan then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their time at Stanford, Evan Luxon also attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering degree with a focus on Bioengineering Innovation and Design.
