Fen Yik is a quality-oriented, multilingual computational linguist and currently serves as a Senior Language Engineer on the Generative AI team at Centific. With a proven track record in process optimization and automation across language data workflows, Fen has previously held positions such as Group Manager at TransPerfect Translations, where they transformed the Asian language translation department, and Senior Language Engineer at Amazon, where they built and maintained data pipelines for CX improvement. Fen has also contributed to academia as a Linguistic Research Consultant and Instructor at the University at Buffalo. Fen is pursuing a Ph.D. in Linguistics at the same institution, alongside a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Cornell University.
