Amy Carrier

Amy Carrier is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in executive roles, most notably serving as President and CEO of Centra Health from September 2021 to April 2024, where significant advancements included a $500M modernization initiative and the development of strategic partnerships. Prior to Centra Health, Amy held multiple leadership positions within Bon Secours Health System, WellStar Health System, and Adventist HealthCare, contributing to operations, strategic planning, and clinical service line oversight. In addition, Amy has a background in academia, teaching performance improvement methodologies at Georgetown University and the University of Maryland. Educational credentials include an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Labor Studies from Penn State University, along with specialized training from The Johns Hopkins University and Saint Francis University.
