Christopher Thoms

Christopher Thoms is an experienced data analyst and educator with a strong background in data analytics, research, and teaching in the fields of environmental studies and sociology. Currently serving as a Senior Data Analyst at CentraCare, Christopher has previously held roles such as Director of Institutional Research at St Cloud Technical and Community College and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Minnesota. With a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and a solid foundation in natural resource sociology, Christopher has taught at multiple institutions, including the College of St. Benedict - St. John's University and St. Cloud State University, while also conducting research on collaborative watershed management and environmental justice. Early career experiences include teaching and research roles at Whitman College and an impactful period as a Peace Corps Volunteer focusing on community soil conservation.
