Kathy Parslow

Kathy Parslow has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kathy is currently working as the Chief Corporate Services Officer at Central 1 since January 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) starting in 1998. These roles include Vice President Claims Customer and Material Damage Services (2019-2021), Vice-President Claims and Driver Licensing Operations (2016-2019), Senior Director Claims Customer Service (2014-2016), Vice President Corporate Services (2012-2014), Director Insurance Planning and Transformation (2009-2012), Director, Regulatory Affairs and Insurance Planning (2006-2009), Manager Regulatory Affairs (2003-2006), and Corporate Strategic Advisor (1998-2003). Before ICBC, they worked at BC Hydro in Government Relations from 1994-1995, and at the House of Commons as a Page from 1991-1992.

Kathy Parslow completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Simon Fraser University between 2001 and 2003. Kathy also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Canadian Studies from the University of Ottawa. In addition, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in History from The University of British Columbia. Kathy Parslow also has a certification as a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) from the Chartered Insurance Professionals Society of Canada.
